3 cheers for all those good folks cutting the overgrowth off the nice new paths the conservation volunteers put in for us a few years ago. ... See MoreSee Less

Please vote for AVAA in Tesco between now and New Year!
Our grant bid has been entered to the in-store popularity competition to win up to £4,000. This would pretty much enable us to facilitate the redevelopment of the allotment sheds into a large indoor meeting space and workshop, and construct an outdoor kitchen and cob oven.
All you need to do is visit a Tesco in east Bristol (including the big one at Eastgate Centre) and ask the cashier for a token. I spent 25p there yesterday and the nice lady gave me 3 tokens to vote with.
Please spread the word to friends and family. ... See MoreSee Less
Woo hoo!! Well done Brian!
I always ask for a token at customer services to use in a trolley first...
Dropped my tokens in today
Let's hope the 'value' shoppers recognise the value of local produce!
I'll be on my way to Tesco asap 🙂
I had a look today and we're in the lead - just.

Anyone know what's going on with the broken top gate (stoney lane? end)?...youths have started hanging around on our plot and leaving rubbish. Is it going to be fixed anytime soon? Anyone I can contact? Thanks ... See MoreSee Less
Contact The Farm office - I know they contacted the council about it ages ago - Another plot holder is going to take a look (he recently mended the gate on the Chesterfield Rd junction), but I think its a bit more complicated - looks like at least one post needs resetting into concrete..in the meantime if people could try to use the bit of wire to hook it shut that might help a bit...
