Horticultural Support Worker
22.5. hours per week Monday to Wednesday – fixed term until 31st March 2014
£14,733 pro rata (£7.55 per hr equivalent)
The post holder will be responsible for assisting in the delivery of the Farm’s Horticultural Training Project, which offers supported practical and educational activities for adults with leaning difficulties, mental health concerns and physical disabilities. Key responsibilities include:
* Support the Horticultural Training Manager in planning and implementing the plant propagation, planting and maintenance programmes for the Farm’s growing space
* Working with individuals or small groups, support clients as required, enabling them to achieve stated goals and to reach their full potential in a supportive environment.
