Farm Support and Engagement Workers

Horticultural Support Worker – Minimum 16 hours a week, every Monday and Tuesday up to 30 hours based on availability to work weekends plus occasional hours on other weekdays. Key responsibilities: Supporting adults with learning difficulties in educational and practical opportunities in horticultural and assisting in plant propagation, planting and maintenance of the Farm’s gardens and growing spaces using organic gardening techniques

Livestock Support Worker – Minimum 16 hours a week, every Thursday and Friday, up to 30 hours based on availability to work weekends plus occasional hours on other weekdays. Key responsibilities: Supporting adults with learning difficulties in educational and practical opportunities in animal care and assisting in animal care tasks including mucking out, moving animals between pens, feeding animals, deep cleaning of animal shelters etc

Farm Engagement Worker – Working ad hoc shifts (0hr contract) to support weekday educational and practical activities and occasional weekend duties. Key responsibilities: Assisting in the delivery of practical and educational activities for Farm visitors and other beneficiaries, supporting service users, opening and closing the Farm at weekends and undertaking animal husbandry tasks such as feeding and cleaning etc.
