On the Farm
- Parking is limited to the residential roads near to the farm (Watercress Road and Hopetoun Road). There are no designated disabled parking spaces outside the entrance, but feel free to give us a call ahead of your visit and we can usually reserve a parking spot near the entrance for you.
- There are kerb ramps outside the farm’s entrance on both sides of the road.
- The farm’s entrance path includes a ramp on a 35-degree gradient, which wheelchair users may find difficult to navigate without assistance.

Farm entrance (left) and the accessible ramp to lower paddocks (right)
- Just inside the entrance and to the left (next to the farm shop), there is a sloping wooden ramp which can be used to access the lower paddocks on the farm.
- There are two accessible public toilets on the farm site, near to the farm entrance. Please note that these toilet doors open outwards and do not have a ‘push to open’ pad, so some users might need assistance to open the doors.
The Community Building
- This space is located on the right hand side at the top of Watercress Road (next to the farm office and the playground).
- The main entry has a large single step up, but there is a separate, wheelchair accessible entrance on the left-hand side of the building.
- There is a bathroom within the Community Building which is accessed via a small step up, so is unfortunately not suitable for wheelchair users.
Boiling Wells
- Boiling Wells is a sloping woodland site. The terrain can be challenging, especially if the ground is wet after heavy rainfall.
- The path along the lower level of Boiling Wells (towards the Barn and Outdoor Kitchen area) has a woodchipped surface and and is not completely level. Wheelchair users would likely need support to navigate this. There is an accessible toilet on this path (assistance bars have not yet been fitted, although there are plans to do this in the future).
- The bottom of the amphitheatre has a flat area, but there is a steep slope to reach this. Again, wheelchair users would probably need support to navigate this slope.
- The main entrance to the Barn building is accessed via wooden steps. There is an alternative entrance via a small woodchipped path up a gentle slope. This is not suitable for wheelchair users.
- The upper slopes of the site and the Roundhouse building at the top of the amphitheatre are not wheelchair accessible.
The Connection Centre (including the Education Room, Training Kitchen & Classroom, and the Volunteer Room)
- All rooms are wheelchair accessible. There are usually tables and chairs set up in each room- if this could present a challenge to navigating the space, please let us know and we can temporarily remove some chairs or tables ahead of your booking.
- There is an accessible bathroom in the Volunteer Room. The corridor to reach this bathroom has limited space so could be challenging to navigate in a larger wheelchair.
