Supported training

Supported training opportunities and practical placements within a truly unique setting

With a small working farm and the community garden, we offer unique training placements and therapeutic activities in horticulture and animal care for adults with learning difficulties and mental health concerns.

Nestled amongst the trees at the bottom of the Farm, the Log Cabin provides a safe, accessible and well equipped environment in which trainees are supported to a high staff to trainee ratio. During the course of their placement, trainees will learn new skills, gain new interests, grow in confidence, develop support networks and attain greater independence all whilst playing an active role within the community.
