A gentle cooking and growing group, we meet each week to work together and create a delicious healthy meal which we share with each other at the end of each session.
Throughout the day we take breaks to spend time in the garden, drink tea or enjoy the Farm and the animals.
The food we create is healthy, seasonal and generally vegetarian, though we may cook with high welfare meat if there is some demand.
During our therapeutic session we tend to our kitchen garden which involves some light weeding, planting and watering.
We will often cook and eat outside and have use of a firepit and pizza oven.
Schedule: Thursdays, 11AM - 2PM.
Eligibility: you can self refer if you are experiencing mental health challenges or difficulties and are in need of some respite.
