We have seven spaces that are available for hire, five in our new Connection Centre teaching building, plus a community building that's great for children's parties (see below) and an outdoor conservation site (Boiling Wells) that's occasionally available for woodland weddings and events at weekends.
The Connection Centre
Three rooms in the Connection Centre can each cater for up to 20 theatre style or up to 12 in board room format with additional kitchen space also available.
Ideal for: school groups, meetings, away days, education classes, pop up events.
Facilities: tea or coffee making facilities
Add ons: Order a buffet lunch or tea, coffee and refreshments from the farm cafe. Reserve a tour of the farm or speak to the office about organising a talk from one of our project leaders.
Connection Centre: Classroom
The classroom is great for school groups or workshops. It seats 12 boardroom style or 20 theatre style, with both adult and child size tables and chairs, and incorporates tea and coffee making facilities.Dimensions: 26sqm
Connection Centre: Centre Room
The centre room also seats 12 boardroom style or 20 theatre style. There are no tea and coffee making facilities in this room, but it has double doors opening into the training kitchen, making it perfect for renting both spaces for cooking classes etc. Dimensions: 23sqm
Connection Centre: John James Training Suite
The training suite is great for school groups, small workshops, board meetings, or breakout space. It usually has a large table to seat 10 boardroom style, a sofa and incorporates tea and coffee making facilities. Dimensions: 26sqm
Connection Centre: Training Kitchen & Courtyard
The Training Kitchen (with two ovens and six hobs) can be booked for cooking sessions. It has to be booked with either the Centre Room or the John James Training Suite for access.
The Community Room
Our Community Room is situated yards from the main Farm site next to our amazing green playground. Built like a hobbit house, the room is bright, clean and offers a great space within a green oasis for a party, gathering, meeting, training event or other activity.
Capacity: 25 adults seated or 35 people standing.
Facilities: 15 adult chairs, 8 little chairs, additional chairs on request, fold away tables, sink and a kettle.
Add ons: Order refreshments or a buffet service from the café.
You are welcome to bring any decorations / balloons etc, but please take everything down afterwards, and please take all your rubbish away with you. Book enough time to set-up and clean-up. A 20% discount is offered for those making ‘regular bookings’ of 12 ½ day sessions or more.
